BAROOD (Jerusalem)

In a small picturesque courtyard, off Jaffa Road – Jerusalems main high-street, hides “Barood”: a very special bar-restaurant, with a rich bar, Sephardic-Jerusalemite cuisine, moderate prices and a unique atmosphere. If you want to spend a quiet hour with a “well-nursed” pint of Guinness, nibble some delicacies, taste genuine “pastelicos” and “albondigas” (we serve great steaks too…), or just meet interesting people while listening to quiet music – “Barood” is the place to visit.

In addition to the regular menu, we have lots of other tasty deals on our menu of daily specials that is carefully curated every day depending on the weather outside and our mood inside.

Our daily food specials include: beef and spinach cutlets, leek in lemon sauce, lamb shoulder with Jerusalem artichoke and fennel, oxtail with chickpeas and chard, original Greek moussaka, ribs in a wine sauce with root vegetables.
