SHTROUDL (Haifa)
Located in a historic 150-year-old building, which have been a sacred site of The Knights Templar for years and years, Shtroudl Restaurant is an authentic place, nestled in a delightful area in the bottom of the Bahai Gardens. The charming courtyard garden of the restaurant, dappled by a variety of planted olives, fruit trees and green herbs, accompanied by the soothing sounds of water in fountains and sounds of birdsongs, will definitely leave you astonished. The stunning combination of old-style wood decorated walls and antique stair railings added up to ruby-red tiled roof on the top truly reflects the atmosphere of the old German Colony along with all its defining features and unique style.
In Shtroudl Restaurant we offer our customers a rich and varied menu based on Arabian homemade cuisine with a little bit of inspiration from the best French and Italian chefs. All dishes are carefully prepared from the best and highest quality ingredients, which come from Wadi Nisnas – the nearby market brimming with fresh seafood and the most succulent fruits and vegetables. Also, our great selection of wine perfectly complements our diverse and unique cuisine. But the main show venue must be in our open kitchen, which gives our guests the exceptional opportunity to observe the process of how your food is being prepared
High thick walls and blossoming floral vines on them combine to create a fantastic atmosphere of the restaurant, fusing the conception of its interior and exterior. All vintage furniture and luminaires were brought around from antiques shops in different parts of the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, and Italy. Particularly, the old bar counter was brought right from one old bar in Belgium. Without doubt, looking at all these you will definitely feel the true flavour of history.
So Dear Guests, we are welcoming you to visit our restaurant and enjoy the unique cuisine in an unforgettable authentic atmosphere.
